(41,049 posts)She would bring her favorite ball when we were eating dinner, jump up and put her paws on the edge of the table and set her ball on the table. She doesnt do that so much now that shes older. One time she put it right on my plate.

(23,763 posts)She will sit by it and look at us quite pitifully. When we open the door, she charges up the stairs like a bat out of hell. It's a game.
The Cat Who Will Not Let Us Touch Her has a little fuzzy ball that she likes to play with. It will periodically vanish, then show up in the food dish. Sometimes I find it on my pillow or another spot on the bed, but eventually it ends up with the kibble.

(25,729 posts)on the floor and it was clear my dog Harpo ate it.
I told my roommate she should make sure she closes the fridge door better next time. She said she never left it open.
Later that day we saw Harpo on her hind legs scratching at the refrigerator door until it opened. We cracked up! We put something in front of the fridge and it didn't take for Harpo to forget how to open the door.

(61,910 posts)Marlin is quite specific. Harmonica (he sings to Dylan and Neil Young when they play it). Low strings - cello or viola.
Our previous chocolate lab used to sing when I played the piano or guitar.
Kick in to the DU tip jar?
This week we're running a special pop-up mini fund drive. From Monday through Friday we're going ad-free for all registered members, and we're asking you to kick in to the DU tip jar to support the site and keep us financially healthy.
As a bonus, making a contribution will allow you to leave kudos for another DU member, and at the end of the week we'll recognize the DUers who you think make this community great.
