What I was referring to is that when those houses are built, most people finish the inside with a couple of quick coats of shellac. This is not a good idea, because shellac, while providing a beautiful finish, does not hold up to the outdoor elements very well, and the wood on the inside of those lovely tiny homes quickly rots.
