three baby groundhogs in our backyard many years ago and they were so cute! One day we were watching them and they climbed up a willow tree we had at that time. They didn’t go up very far, but that’s when I learned they could climb trees-surprised me! We have a big backyard, and they lived in a burrow with mom at the very back of the property. This will be the second year now that we have had no groundhog. Kind of miss seeing them.
