"Gladiator II is scheduled to be released in theaters on November 22, 2024. The sequel will star Denzel Washington, Pedro Pascal, Connie Nielsen, Joseph Quinn, Fred Hechinger, May Calamawy, Lior Raz, Tim McInnerny, and Derek Jacobi. Nielsen is the only actor returning from the original Gladiator as Lucilla, Lucius's mother. Washington will play a former slave who has become a wealthy arm and commodity dealer but holds a grudge against the Emperors. Quinn will play the historical emperor Caracalla, and Hechinger will play his brother and co-emperor Geta. "
Paramount Pictures will distribute the film in the U.S., while Universal Pictures will handle international distribution.
