24. Why is it that some bats are so cute?

I've read them referred to as "sky puppies" (as opposed to otters who are "sea puppies" ). Whereas other bats have faces that are chilling nightmares that would make an insect face look endearing

Nature! What can you do? It gave us kittens and puppies and bunnies and naked mole rats and blob fish and Ted Cruz.

26. I don't use fitted sheets because I have a water bed but when I change them the cat "Helps" me

He gets under the sheet, rolls on his back and sticks all 4 feet up in the air, making the sheet look like a little mountain range.

Then he plays "hunt the invisible thing" under the sheet.

It is very entertaining but makes changing the bed take twice as much time

......sea bird with the long beak makes up for it though. The Whale!! Amazing. To think that folks used to harpoon that amazing animal, drag it up on a ship, cut the blubber off of it, and render lamp oil. How dumb can humans be?
