I think it's great to start them as early as possible..especially anywhere near water

taking her. My niece just likes to get in the water and splash about. She's not swimming yet. But yeah, I was surprised to find out that baby swimming lessons were a thing.

Back in the last century, my dad threw me in the water to get over the fear, I guess. Its natural to kick and try to stay above water but little by little, he taught me to swim and different techniques. He loved to swim and was a great teacher. Its heartbreaking to hear of kids drowning from panicking, probably, but kids catch on fast and dont have the fears they develop the longer they dont get lessons.
