taking her. My niece just likes to get in the water and splash about. She's not swimming yet. But yeah, I was surprised to find out that baby swimming lessons were a thing.

Back in the last century, my dad threw me in the water to get over the fear, I guess. It’s natural to kick and try to stay above water but little by little, he taught me to swim and different techniques. He loved to swim and was a great teacher. It’s heartbreaking to hear of kids drowning from panicking, probably, but kids catch on fast and don’t have the fears they develop the longer they don’t get lessons.
