Big event in my life yesterday

I gave away my ironing board. Never again will I iron a shirt. I no longer care if my clothes are as wrinkled as my face.

Local pool and fitness center. We’re focused on more important things (like our health) than any kind of wrinkles. I gave away my mirror also 😊

it is at either. Most of the clothes we have are wrinkle-free, so that helps a little bit. But in reality, we don't really care if they're wrinkled or not.

sigh.....

I'm the weirdo who enjoys ironing but I don't use an ironing board. I put a towel down on my bed so I can sit while I iron. I find it relaxing and feel a sense of accomplishment when I'm done.

Having said that, I'm VERY happy for you!

I haven't ironed in 35 years or more.

If they don't come out of the drier ready to wear, then they go off to Goodwill.

After a lifetime of not wearing TShirts, all I live in anymore is TShirts! (LOL) The messages on the TShirts are my statements to the world these days. One, in particular I like, says "I used to be People Person... and then People Ruined it."

Good for you! Some things are just not worth the effort anymore!

13. I have a small spray bottle that I fill with hot water. Spritz, hang or smooth with hand. No more wrinkles!

You can even spray while wearing and then smooth wrinkle with your hand. Great for traveling.

15. I don't mind ironing, and would much rather iron than dust.

Dusting is so pointless - 2 hours later, it's back. I have a little sign that hangs on my closet door knob that says, "You may touch the dust, but please don't write in it."

I like the aroma that wafts up from whatever it is I'm ironing. I haven't much need for ironing now that we are both retired, but I don't mind it when the rare need arises.

I do have to put the ironing board away ASAP, or it will quickly become just one more horizontal surface on which to pile "stuff" that I'm too lazy to put away.

I do like my hand-held steamer.
