For those in Beryl's track. How ya doing?

I’m just north of Conroe so nothing happening yet. It will be a while for it to hit.

They did up the expected wind speed from 35-45 to 50-60 mph when it hits here.

I’ll probably be taking naps during the night so I can check weather here.

Don’t have worries about flooding since I’m well above any flood prone areas. Wind, well maybe have some tall trees around my house. But have removed some problem trees a branches over the last few years.

If you’re up and feel like posting how you’re doing please do. Just please stay safe.

Ironically, we are about 90 miles west of the eye right now. We have light winds and no rain. I can see the big dipper in the sky. With Harvey, we were experiencing 70 mile per hour winds and we are about the same distance from the eye. Strange.

I’m mainly worried about friends and family. Got friends in Galveston, Deerpark, and Houston. My brother in law lives in Pasadena.

I was in the path 48 hours ago. I was just expressing my relief. Just a note.
