We’ve had five straight over-90 days, with only a slight decline to the mid-80s projected for next week. The latter wouldn’t be so bad for places where A/C was standard, but it isn’t for most older homes, including ours.

It gets down to the mid to high 60s at night. Very pleasant. We'll get rain Thursday.

9. I'm in Marietta

I've been getting up a little earlier to run errands, or get water and food out to the birds. It rained a couple of times last week, and cooled it down a little, but the heat is back.
