My children are all great adults but none have chosen to have children.

5. Even though I'm Godless,

I always say I’m not blessed with children. When I was 11 years old I decided to never have kids. Even got a vasectomy, thanks to PP. no one else would do the surgery.

I never wanted to have a baby. Thankfully, my husband didn't want kids, either.

When my husband and I were dating, we had a conversation about kids. I sort of hesitantly told him I didn't want any, and when he said he felt the same, I felt such relief! I had just assumed that all men wanted children.

9. The several people I know who have elected to be child-free....

Have no regrets and live enriched lives. They tend to travel more and have adventures. Not having to save for colleges, etc. provides a lot of freedom. They are also more interesting to talk to at parties.

There is no right or wrong here, only choices.
