there is still a lot of left overs

I baked five loaves of bread, 2 dozen red velvet cupcakes w/ cream cheese frosting, 4 dozen rum balls, 4 dozen thumbprint cookies w/ orange filling, raspberry filling and mint jelly filling, 2 dozen deviled eggs, 4 dozen fudge, 4 dozen boiledshrimp w/ cocktail sauce, vegetable tray, a pork roast, a smoked ham and a turkey!

(edit) and, I did a fruit tray to dip in chocolate (or not)

what the hell was I thinking?

Especially when you're entertaining.

Freeze as much of it as you need to for later - almost everything on your list freezes well, with the possible exception of some of the vegetables (cucumbers, radishes aren't good for that).

I swear, if the kids go to Tucson for New Years, I am getting some shrimp for the husband and me (or just me muahahahahaha) if I have to bounce a damn check. I have been craving ice cold shrimp and red cocktail sauce for MONTHS!

most of the goodies went home with family and what is left is kind of picked over . . .

excellent suggestion though, especially the sweets.

thanks for the idea

from the party/lunch at work Thursday before Christmas. A few things, I am afraid to eat now. Had some for dinner tonight. So far, so good.

But I think it is time to give up on it.

I'm sure some of y'all would finish that off without bothering with a spoon!

I'm about to Vitamix some of the citrus fruits I have leftover, too. That is, whole fruits that have no zest any more

(The zests of 20 limes, five oranges and three lemons, went into making various biscotti cookies...)
