8. For many years, a ton, but no longer.

When my boys were growing up, we had both a dog and cats. After I lost Snowy in 2020, I decided not to get another dog. And I'm still happy with that decision, even though I find myself looking through Petfinder from time to time. Definitely no more cats since I'm allergic to them.
