Stili waiting for their disability designation to kick in, still suffering in Arizona heat with their multiple illnesses and conditions.
Anything you might be able to chip in is more than welcome. Brother's immune issues prevent going to a shelter, and, besides, all local shelters are full.

Darin thanks those who have helped and hopes they can keep the room they've been able to rent, for a few more days hoping to beat the heat and stay alive. They will have to leave on Wednesday otherwise, with no place to go.

Here is an idea of what they could use in terms of food:

canned chicken soup (he says Progresso has low sodium)
instant coffee
diet iced green tea
sliced cheese
bread
eggs
fresh fruit
raw baby carrots
says they lack protein, maybe some high protein trail bars or nuts?
