I usually listen to something depressing and introspective, like cats in the cradle, or the wreck of the edmund fitzgerald, and then i feel better.

Like i said, i'm not nermal. I need to feel bad before i can feel better.

I had a dog who chased butterflies. It's actually a song about perseverance. I'll always love that song.

...is my favorite song. "Let It Be" is my daughter's. She played Sesame Street's "Letter B" to my granddaughter and it was the 1st song she ever learned. Memories. Thanks for posting. 👋

Yes, I know it’s cheesy. Yes, I know it’s corporate music “inspiration”.

Don’t care.

When I’ve had a rough day, when I’m feeling downtrodden and hating life and everything in it, it lifts me up, and gives me the strength to come back the next day.

Music exists for a reason. And this is one of them.

So go ahead and joke about it. It’s okay.

They sang it in their concert in Central Park, which was rerun on public broadcasting a couple of months ago.

I don't know why Simon and Garfunkel get to me so much...that song brings nostalgia to me...
