And he’ll have a new joke for ya every time he sees ya.

Wind destroyed half my umbrella today, but that’s okay there’s only a 50% chance of rain.

On point with Carlin My Friend

At the bday of a retired nun. She lived in a nun retirement community on the campus of a small religious university. They were some fun gals. I had several clean nun jokes that went over well but still shocked a Catholic friend when I told her I told them at the party, but I was like, "What? Being intimidated by nuns is your thing, not mine." I think they loosen up when they retire and are allowed to wear comfortable clothes. Two of them even got into a playfight with their animal balloons, and I asked them if I needed to separate them and go get the priest.

The ones who taught my CCD classes were all really nice. In fact, I chatted with a super nice nun at the airport in the TSA line recently. She was on her way to Rome! I saw her later on while I was walking around the terminal and she gave me a really friendly wave. I wonder if a lot of people don't talk to nuns.

The day after she died an awesome Nun handed me a Card and gave me a Hug. She had written a note in the card full of love and kindness and compassion. It helped me greatly. It is a cherished possession I still have. I will always Love Sister Adrienne Marie.

So my first thought was "an exception" but I realized that was a little harsh.

The KKK says Catholics are the enemy of the people. At least since 1865.

I see every now and then in town. He ALWAYS has a corny joke to tell. Short and funny. I’ll pass on your appreciation.
