The DU Lounge
Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsI broke, and brought her inside.
She's my kitteh now.
Meet Stella (by Starlight). I'm guessing she's 5? months old, and had been hanging around my back door for a while.
She's real affectionate...like most all tabbies I have known...and is beginning to emerge from the corner of the sun room to check out the rest of the house.
Setting up vet appointments later today for flea/worms/vaccines...and later a spaying.

Shes beautiful! I love the brown on her nose.
As my late, much loved and missed sister-in-law would say, she won the kitty lottery!

I can tell by the look on her gorgeous face she knows!
Is she settling into her queendom nicely?

(6,108 posts)Hi Stella!
The song a robin sings
Through years of endless springs
The murmur of a brook at eventide
That ripples through a nook where two lovers hide
That great symphonic theme
That's Stella by starlight
And not a dream
My heart and I agree
She's everything on this earth to me
That great symphonic theme
That's Stella by starlight
And not a dream
My heart and i agree
She's everything on this earth to me

(1,598 posts)From your recliner, only your hand gets tired while the cat chases that elusive dot.
Highly recommended. (Also, extra batteries while you're at it.)
LudwigPastorius
(14,999 posts)I've been throwing a little foam golf ball for her to chase, and she goes after it and picks it up in her mouth, but she doesn't get the concept of bringing it back to me for another throw yet.
SupportSanity
(1,598 posts)You could also tie a light thread to the foam golf ball and gently pull it back to you.
Good on you to have done this. They are amazing and fun.
By the way, I have two cats who will call me when they want to chase the laser dot.
They have ME trained!
