OP
When the dog saw the blanket on the car's back seat, he probably thought "Jackpot, this is good."

I want to slap animal abusers in cuffs and make them accountable. Laws are lenient or non-existent. n/t,

If you know of employment in animal rights protection, let me know. I can see a second career.

(97,622 posts)1. Thank you, catbyte. 💙
I hate any human that would abandon a dog like that. So glad a human with a heart gave him a good home.
The ones that really kill me are when the dog waits for the owner to come back at the spot where he was dumped.

Thank goodness he was saved by a man who saw and cared. Not all heroes wear capes.

there is absolutely no reason to treat pets like trash - if you legitimately cannot take care of them or if you just don't want them there are shelters
