I didn't like having to bid farewell to my faerie garden

The plants stay put. Not going to disturb them, and I hope the new owners take care of the hens & chicks - along with at least three other succulents.

Not easy to get this shot. The top of the tree trunk is 4 ft high, and it’s 3 ft in diameter. Areas of decay are apparent. I started the succulents in the largest of them. It was obviously a work in progress, but moving to a bigger canvas, so that’s exciting. The gnash at the bottom of the photo is from a lightning strike at some point in the distant past and extends to the ground. There’s a wizened gnome at the base, and he’ll stay as well.
