(18,340 posts)I didn't see "Dr. No" til later, but I did see "Thunderball" in its first run at a Chicago area theatre.
The Aston Martin DB5 was in the lobby, and a guy flew around the parking lot using a jet pack.
I remember the theatre manager asking me if I wanted to try out the ejection seat.

When Pompey throws him the rifle just before "Now dude, right between the eyes." We couldn't wait for the act to be completed.
The fact that he was tortured by the killing, despite it being in defense of another, was a good touch.
