The one with the kitties, took me out to dinner and bought me a lottery ticket! For the rest I just enjoyed a slow, do nothing day and made a point to not fret about anything and it worked so it was a nice day overall.

Another swirl around the sun begins!

Pulling the rest of the garden today, hard freeze and snow by tomorrow night, it will be in the 70s today (in the 50s right now!)! Still have tomatoes, carrots and Brussel sprouts. The rest of the tomatoes are all beginning to change color so they will ripen indoors and be fabulous anyway.

29. Been one of the fastest gardening years...

I ever experienced. We were harvested and processed early October…working on next years plan now getting a huge jump on the next season, where the veggies will be grown in Democratic splendor.

It was a beautiful Maine day. I gardened all morning, my son made lunch which we ate on the deck, we took a perfect walk through a meadow and the woods down to the shore of Casco Bay where we found rock specimens to add to our collection, then finished the day with a pizza from Otto's and the newest episode of The British Baking Show. A truly perfect day with no intrusions from he who shall not be named.

I hope yours and all other Scorpio's birthdays were as nourishing and enjoyed.

I was invited over to a friend's to spend some time there on my birthday. Then was reminded to leave before the hubby's daily "now off the clock" adult beverage "sacred" hour. I had forgotten how rejected that always makes me feel. So I sobbed my way home.

I hate my birthday.

My sis did take me out to lunch, so that was nice. But I still hate my birthday.
