(29,882 posts)Did fTucker learn anything from the encounter? Seems if Id been attacked by a demon nocturnally, Id be making better life decisions afterward. Nope, still same old incarnation of Lord Haw Haw.

(77,268 posts)Although I'm not throwing the Snickers or Milky Way away.
This year everything is Mars. I bought a big box of minis online. I gave 4 or 5 to each kid plus a bag of chips.
Ran out of chips. We started with 50 of them, so we had about 55 kids.
I thought that chip selection was 45, but my e-receipt says 5 each of 10 flavors.
So we had even more than I thought.

(77,268 posts)The Twix will get eaten. So will the Snickers.
The others will either get eaten or I'll take some when I go to a school.

(7,178 posts)but damn now I can't stop eating them. I want to find a way to make my own at home using just good quality dark chocolate and no-chemical peanut butter. That way I can justify eating as many as I want

These days, the only treats I eat are made by Atkins 😊

Later an older cousin introduced us to fancy European chocolate, and Lindt appeared in our supermarkets.

(9,083 posts)Pay Day and 5th Avenue are longtime favorites of mine, as is Butterfinger. I've never before had the Zero bars that bovine6 mentioned but after doing research on them and finding out they're still available, I'm on a mission to find some of those, as well.

(27,266 posts)I'd eat a almond joy, twixt, kit kat, non parells, snickers here and there but those above where my favorites.
A few yrs back Trader Joe's made a delicious dark chocolate Reeses type small PB Cup.
Yuuuum!
The problem w butterfingers waaaaaay back is sometimes the center would harden, you couldn't eat it. They must of changed something decades later bc it didn't do that any more.
By the time I got to about middle adulthood it was almost always about good dark chocolate bars like from Lindt 72%, then later 85% as well. Other more Artisan brands as well. Trade's made a great dark chocolate w expresso beans, and one w raspberry pieces.
