despite cats' renowned distaste for water; if his feline majesty's usual conveyance of being borne upon a litter is unavailable, his human servants(s) may paddle him in the kayak instead.

You don’t see many cats that enjoy being near the water like this. Most would be looking for a fast, frantic escape.
Now dogs, you may see them surfing and diving into the water.
