Now I am thinking a zip line would do it for me.

(9,423 posts)the t10's are still rough on the lower body, the ramair chutes are much nicer to land. flare the chute and its like jumping off a kitchen chair.
safe landings.

(9,423 posts)Once you get the hang of flaring your chute, you will be amazed at how civilized the jump can be. It can be a nice soft drop, although, flare too early and it can be a long fall. =Did they say what kind of aircraft? Also, my jumps were years ago, but i vividly remember the staccato bark of, Locate, Separate, Locate, Pull, Pull.....
Locate locate the cut away cord
Separate release the cut away from the Velcro
Locate locate the rip for the back up chute
Pull Pull the cut away cord releasing the primary
Pull Deploy the back up chute

(77,277 posts)I understand the attraction, especially for someone like you that has done it before.
But, I'm not getting out of moving plane unless the pilot hands me a chute & says "The plane is broken."

(77,277 posts)If we have a good weather spate in December, I'm driving to Chicago Music Exchange to sell one of my Martin's. (1964 model)
I inherited it, and while it sounds good & plays well, it's an ugly guitar. I could get a good resonator & have cash left over.
I've been playing piano as much as guitar lately. Not playing guitar less, though. Just playing more per day.
