(18,764 posts)I don't know if she could have made it down the hall to my bedroom with a completely full jar of mayo but this one was around half empty. She is determined, tenacious and food-obsessed. This happened several months ago and she succeeded in removing the loosely closed lid and licking out the top 4 inches of the jar.
Wonderful dog but no one is perfect.

One day, she ducked around the back side of a bush and popped out and surprised me for real
She was so delighted by my reaction that, for the rest of her life, she would try it at that spot. And I would pretend to be surprised and it made her so happy
so thank you for that
