Not sure if anyone remembers, but my niece was declared a missing person a few weeks back (she was found rather quickly)

Before hand they found her car, her keys, and her phone. It was an awful time for the family, but she is all right, and getting some help.

Anyhoo, in all the fear and confusion, her dog also disappeared. Now this 600 miles and 2 provinces away from us. A local group got involved and searched tirelessly and found Juicy. She's lost half her weight, has scrapes, cuts and bruises, but she survived 25 days in a cold mountain town.

IF there is such a thing as angels, these folks are them. They searched day and night to find a strangers dog and bring her home.

First of all, glad your neice is safe and getting the help she needs. But we need all the stories we can get about good hearted, decent people who will go (literally) the extra mile to do the right thing.

As much as we appreciate what you wrote, we might not be the people you should be writing! A letter to the editor might be in order!

Thank you for the update. May your niece continue to heal with pup by her side. I can’t imagine the stress your family has been through. If only our young people understood that we love them unconditionally. My best to you and yours! 💗💗🙏🏼

Maybe some have had really bad luck w people and it totally sours them.

But most people are pretty decent to really wonderful. I know bc that's been my life experiences anyway.
.Even us NYC'rs where I've all my life.
Like on very rare occasions I've fallen people come to help.

(NYC gets such a bad rep! 😑🙄 )
