My brother was that bully like the roadrunner. I always root for the doggies anyway.

I think they should bring these back!

(80,473 posts)Too many kids think the ruskie govt is "cool." That govt has never been anything but a pariah state looking to take what others have. Kids don't realize that is why NATO was formed!
I suppose that shouldn't come as a surprise, at least in parts of the south. My grandson argued tenaciously with his "history" (redneck scum) so-called teacher that NATO does NOT stand for North American Treaty Organization.
I swear, the stupid in this region truly hurts -- literally and figuratively.

(54,908 posts)Back in the day, cartoons were written by sophisticated writers. Remember the double entendres found in "Rocky and Bullwinkle, Bugs Bunny, etc. that whizzed by us as kids but you found hilarious as adults?

(11,142 posts)I would say either Bugs Bunny or Tweety Bird.
I do remember getting into major trouble because I could not stop going around and repeating that famous Tweety Bird line:
"The poor puddy tat. He fall down, go BOOOOM!" (Yes, I was loud, why do you ask?)
I was around 5 or 6.
