They sure are cute. I see them when they are teenagers - bigger than the parents. They follow the parents yelling all day because they have been instructed to hunt for themselves. It can drive a person insane.

younger ones yelling at Mom or Dad to feed them.

I also get to watch robins with their fledglings in my yard. The young ones follow the parents around pausing now and then to open their beaks for a meal. By that age, Mom and Dad are teaching them to forage, rather than getting a handout. Birds are so fascinating!

I learned at that moment - we just have to keep going. The swallow did - without complaining - he/she just kept going, no matter what.
