Laelth has passed away

Hi. I regret to inform anyone who knew Laelth that he died. My dad had multiple strokes back to back which cost him most of his mobility and speech. He was in the hospital for months and eventually was moved to a care facility where he passed. It was expected he would get better, not worse. He left with very little funds set aside and I don't have enough for the funeral. Any help and I would appreciate it. Thank you. Below is a link to the go fund me.

I can't imagine going through an experience like that, a good prognosis and all.
I hope your memories will provide cause to celebrate and emotional comfort to aid your grief.
I've always tried to balance loss with gratitude for all I gained from the lost.

Unfortunately, he wasn't. I looked into any social security options and the only thing I could find was death benefits. Those only go to spouse or underaged children. Neither apply here.

If he was a veteran go to the nearest Veterans Service Office. They will help you gather what you need, starting with a DD214.

He was young. Still in his 50's. Arterial Fibrillation caused a clot and the stroke's wiped him out quickly. Once you have one stroke, you're bound to have more. It was just some bad luck.

Being a newbie, I didn't know your Dad, but I know that there is nothing like a Dad.
I couldn't donate much, but I gave what I could happily, knowing how important it is to you to honor your Dad's wishes.
A hug for you, and prayers for you and all his family and friends.
