I'll stick with my 1984 NY Mets mug and the Roy Kent mug [from Ted Lasso] my wife got me for Christmas two years ago.

It's not a bad piece of work, but I own mugs to drink from, not to look interesting on a shelf.

Even if I still used ceramic mugs, it would be a no.
(I always use of stainless steel thermomug because I'm really persnickety about it being hot.)

Plus, my maker has a two hour limit for being on. That can suck if I am not drinking it as fast as it wants me to.

...oxidizing the flavenoids, and the higher the temperature the quicker that happens.
In the thermomug, there's no added energy so those reactions actually slow down.
The complex alcohols & aldehydes oxidize to carboxylic acids which create sourness & a less pleasant bitterness.
See what happens when you get an organic chemist started?

But, one works with what one has. I don't really make it much hotter, just a bit. (Plus, the main reason is to keep it hotter longer.)

Just sunken eye holes.

My son actually found the pair of them sitting on someone’s trash bin—price tags on ($24 each!)—in a Mennonite neighbourhood, of all places. Nice stainless steel mugs on the inside. For some reason, he’s been unwilling to use them so I got them by default—one for work and one for home.
