A huge thank you to my DU family!
It is with my deepest gratitude that I take this time to thank all of you that have donated to my GFM page this weekend. You donated $1109 as a group which almost covers my June bills already.

My gratitude extends to OmahaSteve who again stepped forth and stood up for my request and the legitimacy of my need. I also have to mention debm55 by name as she kicked my post regularly over the weekend.
I want to thank all of you who offered your support in words, recs, kicks and ultimately, your trust. Every time I ponder the alternatives, I am moved to tears recognizing the lengths you all have been willing to go to help someone like me in such need.
While I sent each donor an individual thank you note through GFM, this is a thank you to the DU family. Each of you combine to make DU a whole and it is you with each intimate post, loving act, thoughtful response, and much much more that makes DU the only safe, loving and open online community that I have experienced. In other words, a family. My DU family.
Please know that every morning, I pray that what I offer in my post helps someone in as meaningful a way as your actions help me.
