Related: Culture Forums, Support ForumsA new pleasure: "The Madame Blanc Mysteries". I just discovered
this series last night on youtube, from ACORN tv. Written by Sally Lindsay, who plays lead Jean White (Madame Blanc), and Sue Vincent (Gloria), about a Britsh antiques dealer whose husband was murdered ends up in the small French village where they had a second home. Interesting plots, characters, relationships, settings. It was a very nice distraction from the ongoing horror.

(872 posts)No cable or Netflix etc. I get enough channels to satisfy me.
MPT1 and MPT2 are 2 Maryland Public Television channels that I get.
Some pretty good stuff on both channels.

(1,764 posts)The series is filmed in Gozo, Malta. Ran across this post about the filming locations trying to find out when the rest of season 4 would drop on Acorn TV, the original channel that commissioned and aired the series. There's a Christmas episode and then usually the rest of new season starts in January. This year the rest of the season drops on July 7th on Acorn TV. Really long wait this year.
