1. Red, White & Blue

Really cheap.

2. Not sure I had any of them. I drank Old German and Pfeiffer more than 60 years ago.

3. Old Dutch in Cleveland in 1970s

58 cents a quart. Somehow we survived.

PBR (Pabst Blue Ribbon).

Rolling Rock.

Miller High Life.

Schaeffer. (sp?)

Heineken has begun to taste like soap.

But the worst of all: Budweiser.

The thing for me was they were mostly cheap and if they were seriously cold I didn't care that they tasted like horse piss.

These days I'm savoring cold Balboa Roja in bottles.

7. Way back in the '80s...

...the Alpha Beta on the corner sold BEER.

The cans were white with lite blue bands around the top and bottom and the word "BEER" in the middle.

Don't recall the price, but the 6-packs were very cheap.

8. Schaefer and Black Label were so cheap in college, they were hard to avoid.

You would also run into Old Milwaukee, Milwaukee's Worst (Best), and Dog Style (Old Style) in the dorm.

My personal cheap go-to was Pabst Blue Ribbon. It didn't make me cringe like those others did.

I refused to drink Shitz (Schlitz) or Pearl Light, and the absolute worst beer I ever tasted was an unholy abomination called Texas Pride.
