Let me tell you a story. I saw a video here of Neil Diamond's video "America" with black and while photos of immigrants

It brought me back to a time when I was a very young (18) adult. My Bubba died earlier and my Didus's recently died.As with many

folks of the time, they had no will and it was first come, first served for the children and grandchildren to take what they wanted. And

they did.A lot of items were from the Ukraine area when they were forced out. After clearing out the house of Valuables and tools and

car in the garage. The seven children and their children left. But I knew what I wanted as part of my culture. and they deemed

unimportant. I found their Ketubah wedding certificate, hanging in the bedroom. Passover Dinnerware wrap in the basement, a menorah, a Mezuzah, prayer scroll that you touch going in and out of the room on the

side of a door. and my Bubaba's babushka , I found the trunk they had come with here and had used as a coffee table. I touched the

Mezuzah to the other door and left. I still have the trunk in the basement.

My question is do you have any thing from the old country that your elders gave you? Happy 4th of July.

She was just a little girl so my grandmother had to sign for her but it demonstrates that EVERYONE got rations, even little kids. If we reach that point in the future, I doubt the US will ration goods to everyone. You will only get stuff if you can afford it & if you can't, tough luck. People who can afford more will be allowed to hoard while others go without.

We're in a sad, sad place.
