a Comfort Therapy dog for my nonprofit agency to work with disabled and slow-learning children who were struggling to read. Paxton showed kids that reading was fun when I’d bring her into schools. She’d read flash cards and do what was written on the card — like sit, high five, etc. She really inspired the kids to read. It was beautiful to see the interactions.

Animals are so much smarter and compassionate than we give them credit for.

I really love and appreciate your animal postings, catbyte. You help make our days much brighter.
