Oooh, saw a trailer for "Project Hail Mary" by Andy Weir (The Martian). Loved the book...

I've read all three of them. I've read Project Hail Mary twice. It's about as good as any science fiction novel I've ever read, and I have read a lot of them. Are you saying they're making it into a movie? Wow, can't wait to see that one. One thing I've noticed that characterizes Andy Weir's novels is that they're always very uplifting and optimistic. They don't have any villains. The conflict comes from an uncaring, indifferent universe, not from any deliberate malevolence. Also, they're heavy on the science and I don't always get that technical stuff, but I slog through it anyway because Weir is such a good storyteller. Really looking forward to seeing that one.
