Henry Fonda as the bad guy in a reversal to the roles he so often played is psychologically jarring.

(1,555 posts)Probably the most accurate accounting of the events that led up to
the gunfight at the OK Corral and its aftermath. Series, Bonanza.
I liked that they would do a comedy episode once in awhile like
"Hoss and the Leprechauns".

(55,390 posts)Our last conversation was his fascination with the cable Western Channel. (He was in rehab, learning to stand and walk.)
He went on and on about Dame Judith Anderson and Bette Davis (separately) appearing on Wagon Train. I'd say he was excited.
I hope I can find these episodes, if only to understand better his last conversation with me.

I Liked the Spagetti westerns like The Good, Bad and the Ugly. Can't stand to watch Clint Eastwood now though. But Eli Wallach was so funny as a Mexican.

(27,348 posts)The others named here, a lot sound familiar, and I'm sure I watched some of them at times as a kid.
I think Bonanza was the one I watched consistently as a kid.
Briscoe County as an adult - very clever, funny. A bit of a Science Fiction flavor at some point.
