Important biography on addiction

Not sure what forum is right, and the addiction and recovery forum is basically abandoned, so I wanted to drop this here.

This is as detailed look into the mind of an addict as I have ever read or seen. If you are struggling yourself or want to understand how someone can become strung out going from alcohol, to weed, to pills, to heroin and everything in between, this is a great look.

I couldn't put it down. Although not an addict myself, I have struggled with partying too much back in the day, so parts of this book seemed really familiar.
