How do I delete my account?

I posted this in the general forum and was immediately banned for interfering with moderation.......which makes my point.
No interference intended. Just need guidance on deleting my DU account. I want no more part of this place.
And yes, I am pissed off.

5. How about this...

Go into Account Settings and hit ‘change my password’. With the cursor in the box, entice your cat to step on the keyboard and make some random keystrokes. Save this, log out, and this place should never trouble your beautiful mind again. Unl as you’re obsessed and can’t stop looking, that is.

If you would like to close your account, please email me directly at [e-mail]. Make sure to include your username and the email address associated with your account. I will respond and ask you to confirm the account closure. Account closure is permanent and cannot be undone.

When your account is closed, we will:

* Delete your registration email address from our database
* Delete any information that you entered into your profile, including your signature line and avatar
* Cancel any recurring Star Membership payments you may have
* Disable your account so that it can no longer be signed into

We cannot automatically mass-delete your posts for you. If you want to delete any of your posts, you must do so prior to account closure, using the self-delete function. After you confirm your account closure, you will no longer be able to self-delete posts.
