(11,553 posts)Maybe (and, I mean maybe. The pancakes will be awesome irregardless) with some blueberries or some M&Ms in them?
(I LOVE M&M pancakes!)

(14,307 posts)I make them all from scratch--even the French Toast is from homemade bread. I make blueberry pancakes thick with blueberries and I have a rotating Belgian waffle iron to make two big ones at once. Then I cover them with berries, maple syrup and whipped cream.

(14,211 posts)I take my brother to brunch every Sunday and I have to cut up his food for him so I'm always encouraging him to get the French Toast because it's easier to cut. It's also more nutritious. Waffles are the hardest to cup up but he keeps ordering them.

(3,144 posts)I'd have to say pancakes but without syrup. I am a firm believer that there's no such thing as too sweet, but for some reason, I find syrup too sweet. I like pancakes with fresh bananas, blueberries and strawberries on top of them. There's a little restaurant in Chicago that makes them that way perfectly.
I like waffles too.
I also like French toast made with challah bread.

(510 posts)my Hubby's deep and abiding love of blueberry waffles means my overly sweet breakfast food selection has leaned heavily towards waffles. I like them with sausage on the side, and the sausage is larrupin' indeed when a bit of the syrup gets on them.
Heck, I love all so-called breakfast foods, great anytime of the day or night! In fact, I plan to tempt my lagging appetite for supper today with sausage gravy and biscuits. It's been too hot out for days now to have an appetite but biscuits and gravy should rouse some interest in eating, as well as being for me the ultimate comfort food.
