8. Of course, conversely, wouldn't humanity be so much more if humans would listen to those of us who have been trying?

Despite the utter hopelessness of the post-Apocalyptic setting, the unnamed man and boy continue to struggle for survival. What drives the man is protecting the boy and keeping him from seeing the horrors the man encounters, because the boy is "the keeper of the light," innocent and caring, the last glowing ember of human charity, and that must be preserved.

"McCarthy transforms what could have been a ludicrous story into a tense psychological drama about a man living on the edge of sanity. It is remarkable for its acuity, empathy, and insight."

at my older brothers funeral "Wondering Where The Lions Are". It is a song about eternity. It was fitting and lovely melody. I never follow the words anyhow.

One of my favorite paintings is Horse and Train by Alex Colville which was on the cover of one of Bruce's albums. That painting was based on a poem about fighting Nazis someone told me.

Don't know more than a few of his most popular songs. He's from Ottawa as am I.
