(29,525 posts)Just kidding, although Id give my pinkie toe for some lingonberry pancakes right about now
I wouldnt decline any berry, depending on availability. Whenever I visit a cherry/strawberry/blueberry festival, that is my favorite berry 🍒🍓🫐

(29,525 posts)We had a mulberry tree/shrub in our back yard as a kid. Very nice performing hand-to-mouth harvesting. Probably ate a few bugs without realizing, but I didnt notice.

(29,525 posts)As Im not much on chewing gum, the teaberry gum was interesting. I found out that not everyone could appreciate that intense flavor. Remember Black Jack gum? Anise (think licorice) is very off-putting to my senses. Some people have that reaction to teaberry gum.

(6,594 posts)The raw fruit is particularly rich in vitamin C and polyphenols. Blackcurrants can be eaten raw but are usually cooked in sweet or savoury dishes. They are used to make jams, preserves, and syrups and are grown commercially for the juice market. The fruit is also used to make alcoholic beverages and dyes. see Creme de Cassis.

(3,067 posts)Wild blueberries and Halle Berry are just a wee bit behind. Cant choose cherries since they have but a single seed, so they arent berries.
