(12,094 posts)Brother died of covid at the end of November. Hospitalized for kidney infection in January. The day after I got home Sheris mother died. I was responsible for arranging brothers interment in Iowa he lived in Arizona. My sister-in law has been sending tons of my brothers stuff to me. (Would you like his 7th, 8th, 9th, 11th and 12th grade yearbooks. I dont, either. How about penciled critiques on paper towels by students when he was TA fifty years ago. Who saves this stuff? ).
Prostate procedure in June. (Two weeks of bloody urine and a little discomfort. Suuuure). Tuesday the clotting was so bad I could no longer urinate. To the ER for the second time in a month. Spent the night in ER. Clots kept clogging catheters (three thats fun). Three hour surgery yesterday to evacuate bladder clots. Now in hospital.
FUN!

(12,094 posts)Ive been on Eliquis, which is a blood thinner. They think that caused bleeding, and urine in the bladder causes it to clot, which finally stopped me from peeing Monday afternoon.
