End of last year and all of this -- Nine months of hell and counting.

Brother died of covid at the end of November. Hospitalized for kidney infection in January. The day after I got home Sheri’s mother died. I was responsible for arranging brother’s interment in Iowa — he lived in Arizona. My sister-in law has been sending tons of my brother’s stuff to me. (Would you like his 7th, 8th, 9th, 11th and 12th grade yearbooks. I don’t, either. How about penciled critiques on paper towels by students when he was TA — fifty years ago. Who saves this stuff? ).

Prostate procedure in June. (Two weeks of bloody urine and a little discomfort. Suuuure). Tuesday the clotting was so bad I could no longer urinate. To the ER for the second time in a month. Spent the night in ER. Clots kept clogging catheters (three —that’s fun). Three hour surgery yesterday to evacuate bladder clots. Now in hospital.

FUN!

Sorry for the rant, Deb.
