Damned overcast mornings!

If you've ever lived near the Central or Northern California coast, you know what I mean -- during summer, you wake up to that "marine layer" probably six mornings a week. Maybe it burns off by 11 a.m., or 2 p.m., or maybe it lasts all day; you just never know. It's depressing and makes it harder to get going.

My sister and BIL moved up near Sacramento after she retired just so she could get away from it.

"Sunny California," my skinny white ass. That's for SoCal

It's called Nature.

Living ¾ mile from the Pacific shore keeps the temperature tolerable.
