Today is Black Cat Appreciation Day

My two magic black cats, Houdini and Merlin, got extra treats this morning and lots of skritches and love.

I have two black cats - of Manx derivation by way of rescue from a trailer park.

6. Houdini has white whiskers on one side and

black whiskers on the other. He can slip in and out of his black cat role.

8. Yeah, Mother Nature is truly a mad scientist

The one with half-white whiskers is a ‘stumpy’, having a little tail about 2” long. The other one is a ‘rumpy’, no tail at all. I’ve never checked to see exactly what she’s got going on back there.

They look identical to me.

The one on the road that just stopped growing, while the other one resembles a whopping buck rabbit. Hops around like one too.

14. Just adopted 2 cats 3 weeks ago. A Black cat (female) and a Tabby (male).

Lucy and Charlie Brown. Lucy was immediately like we've been besties forever. Charlie took a few days to warm up to become best friends. They get along pretty well. Both about 5 years
