This is the second week, the smell is getting less.

I am thankful it is cool now, the heat would really have made it smell.

A few months ago, we were videoing a few tv spots in our studio which is on the top floor of an old building. The host was in the middle as asking the guest a question when we heard something scamper across the ceiling. It sounded like it weighed 25 lbs. For the rest of the afternoon, it kept running back and forth freaking out the guests. When we were done, we went into the other part of the top floor which is kinda like an attic. We couldn't find anything. We never heard it again. The building manager had just hired a company to seal all the holes in the roof and sidings. We're thinking it was a ghost raccoon and that it's coming back to get us.

Today's forecast for the North L.A. County high desert is high 81, low 46.

Received my CA Vote by Mail ballot yesterday, will mail it in tomorrow. Need to look again at the Dem Party and labor and progressive org recs for some downballot races (local hospital board???). Will be phone banking at our local OFA ofice today, and someone there may have more info on our very local ballot items.

I think I'll skip The Walking Dead. I haven't watched anything with zombies for a loooong time--until I saw the remake of Night of the Living Dead last night. I think I'm good on zombies for a while...
