Fall's Seductive Tease
It begins slowly, new colors on the trees,
A subtle change in clothes if you please.
As the leaves begin their descents,
the lingerie more revealing and intense.
It drops its leaves, on the forest floor,
Like a trail of neglige, at a bedrooms door
I picked up a piece, don't recall just which,
But could clearly tell, a custom tailors stitch.
Of course what I described, just above,
Is a single leaf, viewed with love.
As the forest's dance nears it's splendid end,
Like voyeurs possessed, we will descend.
With photo and memory, we will leave glad,
Of our daliance, with trees now scantily clad.
I hope you forgive, my taking liberties,
So that I may, describe,
