One of my favorite films

Saw it about four tine on tee vee (TV Guide alwsys called it "'Dr. Strangelove' without the laughs," which was to damn with faint praise) before I got the DVD; I've watched that six times or so. Outstanding performances all the way around, including from a young Larry Hagman as translator Peter Buck.
