For me, it's as simple as giving my "inner child" permission to show himself in public, lol, with my ridiculous puns and goofy free associations offered in the hope of eliciting laughter, especially my own.

as stated, I'm swearing off any political discussions on DU, instead, I'll concentrate on issues near and dear to my heart, like Top Fuel and Funny Car drag races and Music.

9. I used to street race, in my teens, my 1962 Ford Ranchero, 289ci built to the gills with what was available at the time,

with a Ford Top Loader 4 speed trans., but once I enlisted in the Marines, I haven't done any racing since then and I'm waayy too old for that now, I just enjoy watching the next generation racing.
