5. That little kitten hissing is so cute!

I got my Martini when she was five months old and to this day (she's 14), I have never, ever heard her hiss. She's just so calm and laid-back, except when I'm trying to give her her pill and even though she fights me tooth and nail, she's never hissed at me.

Holly, on the other hand, hisses at Martini quite a bit, especially when Martini wants to play. Holly is just not having it. The other night, they were sitting next to me on the couch and when Holly hissed at Martini, I almost jumped in the air. It was so loud and screechy, it sounded like a lion! Scared the bejeezus out of me.

That Figgy has ever hissed at me or anything. He' s so completely different from every other cat I've ever had. He's never even ever jumped up on a counter or gotten near a dish of food that wasn't his.
